Holistic Learning is an educational platform created by an experienced educator with over 20 years of experience in the field. The platform aims to provide teaching resources for teachers, teaching activities for students, cultural children's books, and professional development services. Inspired by neuroscience and emotional intelligence, the platform's mission is to make these resources accessible to other teachers. Holistic Learning will feature a blog space and e-commerce functionality for selling teaching resources and books. The idea of reaching a wide audience of teachers and expanding into new markets to make a significant impact in the education field is the only the start.
About Kesia
Kesia was born and raised in Venezuela in the 80s. She moved to Ecuador in her 20s, where she promptly immersed herself in everything related to education, pursuing a degree in TESOL and working as an ESL teacher. Her passion for education stems from her belief that learning should continually evolve alongside the modern world. With technology playing a crucial role in the way children, teenagers, and adults acquire knowledge, she strongly advocates for Holistic Learning, an approach that nurtures not only academic growth but also emotional, social, and cognitive development to create well-rounded individuals.
She also values teamwork, particularly the collaboration and support that educators bring to one another within their community. This belief led her to contribute to Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), where she shares resources and strategies to help fellow educators. Currently, she is a Spanish High School teacher in South Carolina, US, where she continues to inspire students and fellow teachers alike through her innovative and student-centered approach to education.
